Investigate and explore a range of ocean environments, the creatures that live there, and the ways in which they interact with each-other.

Classify a variety of sea creatures based on different characteristics:
  • what they eat
  • where they live
  • how they live
  • life cycle

Investigate and report on a selected sea creature.  
Research information about life cycle, feeding, habitat, body how they live and where they live.

Explain how living things are suited to their particular habitat and how they respond to environmental changes, both natural and human-induced.

Begin to group plants, animals, and other living things into science-based classifications.
